School Life

We look out for our learners every step of the way

We run sessions for them to meet their teachers and peers from other primary schools, as well as hosting a full-day of activities for them with their future tutor group. When they arrive in Year 7, we have a buddy system to help new pupils settle in and a pastoral member of staff looking out for their welfare.

Equally, when our students prepare leave us, we offer all the support they need. We have a dedicated member of staff who supports students as they plan their next moves into further education or training.

During their years with us, we make sure each student has daily contact with their form tutor who keeps checks on their academic progress and welfare. And we have regular meetings with parents and carers so that we are all working together.
